Sometimes an unexpected item turns out to be the highlight of a post. When I picked up this slashed cut-out top from Mermalade, I wasn’t entirely sure where to take it—until the vintage rockabilly mechanic idea clicked. Paired with high-waisted denim shorts and high-top sneakers, it brings an edgy, modern twist to a retro garage aesthetic.
